This cartoon really attracts leia's attention whenever she sees it. The bright colours sucked our vision really fast. Pocoyo is a gentle humour cartoon and suitable for pre-school learners. Loula is a boy with a big personality and his friends Ellie, Pato and Sleepy Bird. The characters, storylines, sounds and visual appeal of Pocoyo have been carefully researched to ensure that it is perfectly tailored to encourage child development. He moves, talks, plays and learns like a toddler, and he can sulk and throw tantrums like only a toddler can!

Choosing clothes for babies

As your baby grows your main concern when buying clothes will be that they're comfortable and, when they're more active, that they allow easy movements. Your baby will no longer spend most of the time asleep and as she starts to run about more she's going to need more clothes. Like an adult's, they'll also have to be tough enough to withstand the wear and tear that your toddler will give them. Once they can crawl they'll need sturdy protection for the knees and once they can walk they'll need shoes to protect their feet.

As before, buy clothing in a material that moves with your child so that however active they are there's no risk of uncomfortableness, or of the material tearing. Towelling, cottons andcorduroys are ideal. When they're being "toilet trained" the clothing must be easily pulled down or up, and when they're learning how to dress up or undress you should avoid buying clothes with zips or fiddly fastenings, and use elasticated waists as long as possible.

Modern mothers

Modern mothers can be divided into 2 groups.

1. those who feel that while their children are very young they want to look after them by themselves and feel that this activity is the most worthwhile job that they could do.However, even a mother who loves her child dearly will admit that looking after a child isn't as easy as it looks. Motherhood has its pleasures and fulfillment but it is very tough. It is a twenty four hour job and it is rather badly paid. :) No mother undervalues what she's doing but the society does.

2. The other category is the working mother. For some reason the term "working mother" is still a perorative one in our society. If women aren't prepared to devote themselves entirely to the upbringing of their children it's generally felt that they aren't maternal, that they're selfish and heartless.

At 7 months.

Babies will be able to sit alone but will be very unsteady. Their back will still be rounded and they will have to support themselves with both arms, probably by placing them in front of the body as a kind of brace.
However in this position he won't be able to move his hands in any way because they'll be relying on them for balance. Any movement will result in them tumbling over.

Another 4 days, and lil' leia will enter the 7th month of happy, energetic, curious living days! She was left alone by herself in her crib today.hehe...but monitored by my brother. She's a very pampered baby till today. So i've started transfering her into a self-motivated baby this afternoon. This photo was taken after 20min of loneliness....hehe

Haha, at last... she's playing with her toys with nobody by her side. She's a very pampered baby for she'll just start dramatising herself whenever i'm not there next to her. hmmm....but just now,it was a great start from transfering her into a self-motivated baby!hehe...

Power failure!

She woke up kinda early today because it was quite hot with no aircond and no fan at all. For she's quite a cool-aired baby since she was little.

Today she wears pink! Wearing a blouse that my friend Pija bought for her. That includes a trousers, socks and a pair of pink shoes too! How cute!

Standing up?

Leia's cousins imran, izaz, eyan & dina came down for a visit today! Her excitements are at the most whenever they came by. Well, while she was in her coat, she managed to stand up by hooking herself at the so called 'gate'... :)

She sits and crawl a few steps ahead!

I put her down to play with her toys. She played with her rattles and suddenly she crawls a few steps ahead to reach her rattle! And stopped by sitting down by herself again!haha... what a happy moment for a 1st time mommy to see.

I think a Fisher Price baby products are the best! They are safe for babies. With its colour they attract babies vision. Leia's starting to have more fisher price toys from today onwards!Yipee....
